Workshop · Once a month · Live on Google Meet

Four hours. One AI system. Built together.

No lecture. No PDF handout. Every last Friday of the month, we build your AI foundation together — Stage I: installation, setup, your first working stack. With eight curious participants, and at the end everything runs on your machine.

Stage I · The schedule

Four hours of foundation. At the end, your own AI stack is running.

  • 09:00 – 09:45 45 minutes

    Onboarding & overview

What are we building today? How do AI agents really work? Live look at one of our 54 production agents at Digital Maker. Participant introductions, alignment of expectations, shared direction.

  • 09:45 – 11:00 75 minutes

    Installation & setup

Together we install everything you need for AI development: Python, your code editor (VS Code or Cursor), Git, terminal basics. Then we set up the Claude API account and make the first successful API call. Nobody gets stuck, nobody falls behind.

  • 11:00 – 12:15 75 minutes

    Vector store & first agent

We set up Qdrant locally — your own vector store for structured knowledge. Then we build your first small agent that communicates with the vector store. You'll understand how the building blocks fit together — and be able to combine them later.

  • 12:15 – 13:00 45 minutes

    Test, docs & next steps

Test everything, make sure it runs on your laptop. You'll get the code, configurations and a setup documentation to take home. We show stages II and III — and answer all open questions before we say goodbye.

This is what runs on your laptop at 13:00:

agent.py — dein-stack
$ python agent.py
[ok] Claude API · connected
[ok] Qdrant vector store · 1.240 docs indexed
> ask: "which offers are open this week?"
[agent] searching vector store … 4 hits
[agent] response generated · 1.8s
your first agent is running — local, on your laptop.

No demo account, no cloud stage — the stack runs locally on your machine. You take the code and setup docs home.

Your learning path

Three stages. From foundation to your own AI operation.

We don't believe in one-off AI crash courses. You build sustainably — stage by stage. Stage I is the entry point and runs monthly. The advanced stages follow when you're ready.

Stufe I Every last Friday of the month

The foundation

Installation, setup, your own vector store, your first agent. You start with an empty laptop and go home with a running AI stack. Prerequisite for Stage II.

python claude-api qdrant git
Stufe II For Stage I alumni

First real systems

Building on your foundation: email triage, knowledge search inside your company, marketing reporting bot. You connect your stack to real data sources via MCPs.

gmail-mcp notion-mcp google-ads-api
Stufe III For advanced alumni

Your own AI operation

Orchestrate multiple agents, build your own tools, reporting and monitoring. You leave this stage with a small but real AI operation for your business.

Stage I is the prerequisite

Stages II and III build technically on Stage I. You can't enter directly — we want everyone to have the same stack so nobody falls behind. Dates for Stage II/III will be announced once enough alumni are ready.

Honest selection

Not for everyone.By design.

With 8 seats, it's important to us that everyone wants the same thing — otherwise you won't take home what could be possible. So upfront honestly:

/ richtig fÜr dich wenn

This is for you

  • You want to learn how to build AI agents — not just what they can do theoretically.
  • You're curious about code and want to actively participate. Prior knowledge helps but isn't required — we install and explain together from the start.
  • You run or work in a company — and want systems you can develop further yourself.
  • You take 4 hours without distraction. Focused, not multitasking.
/ vielleicht nicht das richtige wenn

Maybe look elsewhere

  • You're looking for an AI overview or a strategy talk. Our discovery call is the right entry point for that — not a workshop format.
  • You want someone to build the system for you. That's what Digital Maker's Embedded Operations is for.
  • You don't want to actively participate, just watch. The workshop thrives on everyone building themselves — otherwise you'll leave with nothing actually running on your laptop.
  • You expect finished slides and a script to read along. We deliver code, not PowerPoint.
Who guides you

No outside lecturer. The person who actually builds the systems.

Gurdip Mudhar
Gurdip Mudhar
Founder & CEO · Digital Maker

Gurdip runs every Stage I session himself. At Digital Maker he and his team operate 54 production AI agents — the exact building blocks you set up in the workshop: Python, Claude API, vector stores, MCPs.

You don't learn from a slide deck, but from someone who builds these systems for real clients every day. Whatever questions come up in the workshop are answered by the person who has solved them in production too.

I came in with an empty laptop and left with an agent that actually runs. Four hours, no marketing talk — we built from the first minute. The following Monday the setup just kept running at the office.

FAQ

Common questions.

What do I need technically?

You need a laptop, a code editor (VS Code or Cursor recommended), a Claude API account (Anthropic, from a few euros/month) and a browser for Google Meet. Python, terminal commands, Git, setting up API keys — we set all of that up together in the workshop. You don't need to know anything beforehand, but bring curiosity about code. A detailed setup guide arrives 3 days before the session by email, so you don't start from zero.

Do I have to start with Stage I even if I already know Python?

Yes. Stage I isn't just Python setup — we build the exact stack together that we also use in Stages II and III. So that all alumni share the same starting point, Stage I is required for everyone. If you're very experienced, you'll help the others — and still learn our specific setup.

What's included in the price?

4 hours of live workshop, the complete code of all built systems and written documentation to take home. Anthropic API credits are not included — you need your own API key. There's deliberately no recording: the workshop lives off the live character, every session is different.

Can I just listen without coding along?

We don't recommend it. The workshop is hands-on — you only take home something that runs on your laptop if you build along yourself. Whoever just watches won't get real value after 4 hours. There are more suitable formats for pure observation — no worries, we're not the right choice for that, and that's OK.

What if I can't make it short notice?

Up to 14 days before the session, you can transfer the seat to another person or reschedule to the next session at no cost. After that, the seat is booked. With only 8 seats we can't absorb short-notice cancellations — and people who genuinely want to attend plan accordingly.

Can my company book multiple seats for a team?

Of course. Booking multiple seats at once works well — especially Stage I, since your team will then share the same stack and can build internally afterwards. For complete team workshops (all 8 seats exclusive, custom topic) there's a separate format — inquire directly via the discovery call.

Do I get a certificate?

A participation confirmation on request, sure. But honestly: what matters is the working system on your laptop at the end — not a PDF.

Ready for Stage I?

8 seats per workshop. Small, intimate, focused. If you want to be in — the next session is June 26, 2026. Every last Friday of the month.
